2025 Lancaster Pageant is registering contestants now!!!

Judged Catagories

At the Lancaster pageants we strive for excellence in both competitors and judges. Therefore: All queens will be decided upon by the judges on a point system. The decision of the judges is final and will not be disputed for any reason. No queen shall be selected by the Director, her staff, or reigning queen. Judges (if possible) will be selected from outside of Lancaster and when available outside of the Antelope Valley. All tabulations will be verified by more than one individual. All tabulations will be signed by the tabulators. We have a new scoring system in place this year. The possible points are equal to the percentage.

Interview

Interview-50 points per judge

Attire for this category is:

Tiny - Teen Attire: Dark Blue Jeans with no bling & Pageant Theme Shirt provided by the pageant.

Tiny - 2 Minutes

Little & Young - 3 Minutes

Junior & Teens - 4 Minutes

Miss: Interview attire and 6 Minutes

Introduction

Introduction 5 points per judge

Introduction includes:

Name
Age
Sponsor
Salutation
Fun Fact
grade is optional.

Attire for this category is: Dark Blue Jeans with no bling & Pageant Theme Shirt provided by the pageant.

Speech

Contestants in the Little through Miss Categories will give a speech. This speech is based on a pageant provided speech topic.

Talent

Only contestants in the Tiny Category do a talent. This is in place of the speech. Contestants choose a talent that they feel confident doing.

The talent/speech category is 20 points per judge of the contestants overall score.

Attire for this category is to be discussed at the first practice-Costume based on your presentation.

Impromptu/Formal Wear

Impromptu Question/Formal Wear (age appropriate) 15 points per judge

Contestants wear a formal floor length gown and will answer on onstage question.

Each contestant will be ask one (Tiny - Teen) or Two (Miss) onstage questions. These questions are age appropriate to the contestant.

Pre-Pageant Points

Pre-Pageant Points 100 points (equivalent of 1 judges score)

We hold our queen and their families to a very high standard as they are representing Lancaster. This job requires you to be on time, courteous and respectful. This is why we have pre-pageant points. 10% of a contestants final score will be based on attendance, attitude, and submitting required pageant forms/items on time.

Total of 100 possible points per judge.

Other Prizes: These prizes have no impact on the result of the pageant.

Photogenic: This is awarded to the girl whose personality shines through in the picture.
Enterprise: This is awarded to the girl who raised the most money.
Friendship: This award is voted on by the other contestants. They vote for the girl they feel is the most kind leading up to the pageant.
Communities Choice: This award is voted on by Contestants Friends and Family on Facebook.
