2025 Lancaster Pageant is registering contestants now!!!
Our program is designed to be a rewarding experience for everyone. In order to accomplish this, we must have rules and regulations that must be followed by everyone participating.
I hereby apply as an entrant in Lancaster Pageants 2024 Pageant and I acknowledge and agree as follows:
I will be at least sixteen (16) years of age and have not reached twenty (20) years of age as of August 1, 2024.
I attend high school, have a diploma or the equivalent, or attend college and I am of good health and moral character.
I am a natural born female and my birth certificate reflects this statement.
I will obtain my scholarship based on attendance and the following scale: less than 40%=25% of scholarship, 40-59%= 50% of scholarship, 60-79%=75% of scholarship, 80%=100% of scholarship. I understand that my scholarship award is based on my attendance and community service as requested by the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. (A schedule of events will be given once crowned. Dates are subject to be added and may be short notice.)
I am not married, have never been married and have never had a marriage annulled. I have never given birth, am not pregnant, nor am I a parent. If any of these conditions change I will notify my pageant director immediately, and understand I must withdraw from the pageant. Should I become Miss Lancaster and become engaged, married and/or pregnant, I understand I must forfeit my title and all remaining compensation.
I have not entered another community pageant which would qualify me to compete for the “Miss Antelope Valley 2025” title. I was never an Antelope Valley community “Miss” during another year.
I have resided or attended school within the city limits of Lancaster for the past six (6) months.
I agree that if selected as Miss Lancaster 2024, I will represent Lancaster in the Miss Antelope Valley Pageant and abide by all rules and regulations governing that pageant. I understand that my failure to do so may cause me to immediately relinquish my community title and all associated gifts, compensation, etc, received as Miss Lancaster 2024.
I understand that all meetings and rehearsals are mandatory, and are closed to anyone other than Delegate/Royalty's and the pageant committee. I understand that I may not have a friend or family member attend a rehearsal in my place unless a staff member is notified. Any missed information is the responsibility of the attendee.
I will pay my non-refundable registration fee of $75 when I submit my application.
I will attain pageant sponsorship and will submit my sponsor’s $250.00 sponsor fee with my application. I understand that upon acceptance as a Delegate/Royalty the sponsor fee becomes non-refundable.
I authorize release of my high school or college academic transcripts, and understand that they will only be obtained if the truth of any of my statements are challenged.
If selected Miss Lancaster 2024, I will take direction only from my pageant directors. I will attend functions required by my pageant director and will have transportation available in order to attend said functions. I understand that I must obtain permission from the pageant director prior to participating in advertising, promotions, and any and all public events outside of those requested by my pageant director.
If selected Miss Lancaster 2024, I understand that I may not cohabitate with a non-family member of the opposite sex throughout my reign.
I will “friend” the Lancaster Pageant Committee on ALL social media accounts and will refrain from posting “privately” or omitting the committee from my posts. If a post is discovered to be inappropriate, I will forfeit my title and any winnings.
I will respectfully lead my court using the assigned social media page and a group text message. I will always include my sister queens for events as directed by the Lancaster Pageants Committee. I will diligently try to include all members of my court in interviews and photos.
I understand that Lancaster Pageants Pageant Committee, may dismiss me at any time for behavior deemed inappropriate or for not adhering to my contractual obligations outlined herein. Furthermore, I understand that Lancaster Pageants shall determine all issues as to eligibility, and I agree to abide by that determination both as to myself and other applicants. By my signature below I certify that I have read and understand the rules and regulations as set forth in paragraphs (1) through (16), meet the requirements and will comply with the rules and regulations stated. I understand that should I enter this pageant under false pretenses I will forfeit Delegate/Royalty eligibility and/or title and all prizes awarded in conjunction with the pageant. Disclaimer: I hereby release, unconditionally and forever, any claim against Lancaster Pageants Pageant Committee, the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, or its officers, directors, employees, agents, subsidiaries, or assigns, which I may have by virtue of my participation in Lancaster Pageants Pageant 2024, or any use of my name, likeness, voice, and/or biography in connection with Lancaster Pageants Pageant 2024, and the Miss Antelope Valley Pageant and programs 2024, including but not limited to use in promotional and advertising material.

I understand that any social media accounts I have are a representation of myself, my daughter, and Lancaster Pageants and I will conduct myself in a matter of poise and grace. I will not use social media to slander or otherwise bully anyone and I will be held accountable for my posts should this occur. The committee will deal with this on a case by case manner and discipline appropriately.
Miss Lancaster has been a recognized title for over 80 years. This business entity was founded in 1993.
This program is recognized by the Antelope Valley pageant committees and the respective winners will represent their titles, participating at 100% as Lancaster queens in the Antelope Valley pageants.
All Antelope Valley pageant entry fees will be paid for/sponsored by the Lancaster Pageant committee as long as you meet all minimum fundraising requirements and attend all mandatory events (AV and City).
“For the Antelope Valley Pageants” queens will be required to have a floor length dress with straps, which will be provided by the queen and her parents.
Kristan Van Houten may choose her volunteer staff accordingly.
All Delegate/Royalty and parents will conduct themselves in a proper manner during practices, during and after the pageant. Delegate/Royalty and parents will not talk about, or against, raise their voice, be sarcastic, bad mouth, or be negative to any volunteer staff member, Director, another Delegate/Royalty, parent, queens or queen’s parent. Delegate/Royalty and parents will be treated with respect. All Delegate/Royalty and parents will treat volunteer staff with respect.
Any other expenses accrued throughout the year will be at the expense of the queen and her parents; this is not limited to, but may include additional sashes, a replacement crown, clothing for events, parade fees/rentals, etc. If hardships exist after coronation, a “pageant sponsor form” is available to be reviewed by the committee.
We have limited space and will only accept applications as space allows.
All fees are used to produce the pageant. All building fees, trophies, crowns, sashes, prizes and awards, AV pageant fees etc. are provided and paid for by your fees.
Lancaster Pageant delegates may pay the entry fees themselves or you may go out and get sponsors to cover the cost of the fees. You may have as many sponsors as needed to cover fees. This is a tax deduction in the form of an advertisement and their names will be printed in the program book.
NO hats, gloves, props or handheld objects above the Tiny Miss division.
You may wear make-up if you desire, however, please keep it age appropriate. No flippers or extensions.
NO curling irons, hot rollers, hot sticks, blow dryers or glitter (including body or hair glitter) is allowed at the pageant or in the dressing room AT ANY TIME.
Everyone, including parents, who attend the pageant, must pay an entrance fee of $10. We will have pre-sale tickets available one week prior to the event for your convenience. There will be NO REFUNDS of ticket sales.
2023/2024 Community queens and guest/chaperone is $5.
Every Delegate/Royalty will have two preferred seats for her parents/guests. These seats will be numbered according to your Delegate/Royalty number. (i.e. Delegate/Royalty #1 has seats 1 and 2, #2 has seats 3 and 4 and so on). We welcome you to bring as many family members and guests as you wish to bring, however, they will need to be seated in the general seating area.
All Delegate/Royalty are required to have one (1) FEMALE dresser in the Delegate/Royalty dressing room. The dresser must be over the age of 16 and should not be a parent. NO one else is allowed back stage or in the dressing room.
Your dresser should concentrate on you, however, if one dresser decides to help another, or if an emergency occurs a staff member or another dresser may help that Delegate/Royalty. If a parent has more than one child competing they may have one dresser per child. Dressers and Delegate/Royalty may help each other as they desire; however, if a non-dresser or non-Delegate/Royalty is discovered backstage or in the dressing room the associated Delegate/Royalty may be disqualified.
Delegate/Royalty must be in the dressing room 15 minutes prior to the start of the pageant. Once signed into the dressing room they may not leave, without an escort, until the completion of the program. Parents, family and friends may not speak with a Delegate/Royalty once the pageant has started unless it is a medical emergency, you must speak with a staff member first.
You may not remove your clothing and items from the dressing room until after the coronation of the new queens is complete.
There are to be NO CELL PHONE, PAGERS, and LAPTOP COMPUTERS OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES in the dressing room at any time. Immediate disqualification will occur.
Under no circumstance will the Queen or any member of her family get into any type of a verbal/physical altercation while representing the City of Lancaster during her year. Immediate disqualification will occur..
If a Delegate/Royalty is disqualified/removed for any reason or drops out, they will forfeit all entry fees, money, scholarships, awards and prizes and return all collateral including but not limited to: red sash, black sash, themed sash, gifts, crown, tiara, crown box, cape, shirts, ect.. There will be a recrowning fee of $500 due upon resigning from your title.
As of 2015, there must be at least 3 Delegate/Royalty in each category in order to have a pageant. This will be determined by the Pageant Committee.
If any rules, regulations and conditions are not followed and are broken, the Delegate/Royalty will be disqualified. If the committee receives numerous/continual complaints about either a parent, family member or a Delegate/Royalty the Delegate/Royalty will be disqualified.
All queens will be decided upon by the judges on a point system. The decision of the judges is final and will not be disputed for any reason. No queen shall be selected by the Director, her staff, queen, city or chamber official.
Judges (if possible) will be selected from outside of Lancaster and when available outside of the Antelope Valley.
All tabulations will be verified by more than one individual. All tabulations will be signed by the tabulators. All tabulations are done via google sheet.
